ALA resource guide: Digitization

The ALA (American Library Association) resource guide provides definitions, resources and books available on the topic of digitization. Digitization for preservation is a concept that comes from the traditional field of analog preservation and conservation. Digitization for preservation results in digital materials which must themselves be preserved.
