SUMMARY:#DPClinic Aus - Digital Preservation ‘in and of’ the Cloud
DESCRIPTION:This event will take place at 14:00 AEST / 12:00 SGT\, AWST / 16:00 NZST (click here for your local time). \n#DPClinic Aus is an informal online space to discuss a popular digital preservation topic. \nJoin local Australasian DPC members for a community conversation about Digital Preservation and issues that arise when using the ‘Cloud’. We will be exploring issues including how to ensure and validate complete and safe downloads from cloud-based storage providers; creating useful manifests from cloud storage; what tools\, workflows\, and methods are people using; and how to get useful cloud downloads from donors/depositors. These and other issues will be discussed\, so bring along any cloud-based issues\, concerns or success stories to share with the community. There may not be clear solutions\, but this will be an important discussion in a rapidly evolving area. \n#DPConnect and #DPClinic are available to everyone in the digital preservation community\, DPC Members and non-members alike\, provided all participants are respectful and supportive of one another and adhere to the DPC’s Inclusion and Diversity Policy. \n\n\nBOOK NOW
